Welcome to Frightfest BC

Dates: August 14th. - 17th.

Place:  Fort langley campground in beautiful ft. langley, bc.

In addition to the workshops of FFBC we will once again be building a haunted house as a group which will be open for all campers on Saturday night (16th.)  Each participant will be designated an area within the haunted house and it will be their responsibility to supply all props and backdrops for their individual display.   Those who cannot do an entire display are free to help with other areas of the haunted house.  When open, the FFBC members will be required to operate or act in the haunt. 

After closing and while still in costume, we will once again have our Zombie Walk through the main street of Fort Langley, ending at the heritage cemetary,,, and likely the pubs on the route home... a driver will be available to return the minors to the campsite while the adults enjoy scaring the locals at the pubs along the route home.

The cost to attend is free.  The campground has given us the use of the group site for free in exchange for our haunted house.  The group site has 10 free tenting sites but unfortunately there are no available RV sites so those who do plan on attending with an RV or travel trailer will have to make alternative arrangements with the park and pay for their own sites.

The campsite has a very nice little outdoor restaurant and prepare excellent food for a very reasonable cost so you can either prepare your own, or just go to the restaurant.

it has become a tradition of ffbc to play "give and take" on friday night.  here are the rules:

EVERYBODY playing this game MUST BRING AT LEAST 3 HALLOWEEN RELATED ITEMS.  THESE ITEMS MUST BE WRAPPED BUT NOT LABELLED.  THEY CAN BE NEW OR USED, THEY MAY BE STORE BOUGHT OR HOMEMADE.  IT CAN BE A PROP YOU NO LONGER HAVE NEED OF OR PERHAPS SOMETHING YOU MAKE IN MULTIPLES.  IT COULD ALSO BE MECHANISMS COMMONLY USED IN THE PROCESS OF MAKING PROPS SUCH AS AIR FITTINGS, SYLENOIDS, MOTORS, ETC.  as long as it is halloween related.

Everybody is dealt cards, when your card is drawn you pick a gift from the pile but do not open it, you put it infront of you.  If your card is called and the pile is gone you can then steal or trade a gift from someone else.

You can only steal gifts from the people that have more than 3 gifts in their pile but if they have only 3 or less but one you want then you can trade one of yours for one of theirs.  in the end everybody should have 3 gifts.
